Located in the city of Wyoming (Meijer Parking Lot), Ron Meyer Associates Excavating Inc began this new restaurant project mid-summer of 2015 and was able to negotiate the very busy Meijer store customer traffic and tight site fenced in conditions to allow the builder to begin his foundation and structural framing in a timely manner. This project included the pulverization of the existing asphalt parking lot and reclamation for reuse of the existing gravel aggregate base (saving the client several thousand dollars), bore n jack a water main casing under the existing meijer driveway for a new installation of ductile iron fire service line, as well as installation of a challenging sanitary connection into the existing very busy Clyde Park ave for a new sanitary sewer later (including all temporary traffic/construction signs used to reroute the heavy traffic volume.
RME installed the required storm sewer, water, sanitary aggregate base, foundation excavations. All Sitework efforts were successfully coordinated with the ongoing building construction activities, allowing the Construction manager to continue his building process and complete the asphalt installations in an on time manner.
